New Netflix Docuseries ‘7 Days Out’ Features League of Legends Esports

7 Days Out, a new Netflix (NFLX) docuseries that highlights iconic cultural events in fashion, sports, food, gaming and space, became available for streaming on Friday.

The first season of the series provides a behind-the-scenes look at the lead-up to the¬†CHANEL Haute Couture Fashion Show, the Kentucky Derby, the Westminster Dog Show, NASA’s Cassini Mission, the opening of Eleven Madison Park and¬†a League Of Legends Championship.

The League of Legends episode features the grand finals of the 2018 North American Spring Split between 100 Thieves and Team Liquid, which resulted in a 3-0 victory for Team Liquid.

The episode dives into the human side of the esports industry as well, highlighting Team Liquid bot laner Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng’s¬†personal tragedy¬†involving his family and the adversity he had to work through in order to compete.
