Atomic Wallet, a multi-asset custody-free Wallet with Atomic Swap exchange and decentralized order book, revealed this week that it soon plans to support cross-chain swaps between XRP and the other assets listed on the platform.

Atomic Wallet is a lightweight and supports over 300 different ERC-20 tokens, in addition to a number of notable cryptocurrencies, including Augur (REP) and Stellar (XLM).

Atomic Wallet is building out an internal system of cross-chain atomic swaps to allow users to bypass centralized exchanges, and currently supports swaps between Bitcoin, Litecoin (LTC) and QTUM (QTUM). For cryptocurrencies that aren’t supported with atomic swaps, the Atomic Wallet has built-in ShapeShift and Changelly exchanges.

This news comes just weeks after Atomic Wallet added Ethereum Classic (ETC) support. The company noted that it made the decision to add ETC for three major reasons: its a top 15 project by market cap, its traded on most of the largest exchanges, and it has a “great community of supporters.”

XRP is currently ranked 3rd in the AltDex 100 Index (ALT100), a benchmark index for large-cap cryptocurrencies and tokens.
