According to a recent announcement, blockchain collectibles game Blockchain Cuties is planning to integrate into the TRON (TRX) network, in an effort to capitalize on the project’s scalability and growing popularity as a decentralized application (dapp) destination.

“TRON is one of the greatest innovators in the blockchain universe and we love the fact that we get to join forces to bring our community a bigger market to play on and a better experience,” reads the announcement. “TRON did a great job at solving major scalability and speed issues. And their network is growing fast.”

Blockchain Cuties is described as an adventure game that allows players to collect and battle with puppies, lizards, bear cubs, cats and other real and fantasy creatures. Each creature is an ERC-721 token, which can be transferred into ether via a peer to peer marketplace, fueling the game’s internal economy and driving real value into the digital assets.

While little has been revealed regarding the integration at this point, or how it will impact the current support for Ethereum and Eos, the Blockchain Cuties team notes that there will be new content and giveaways in the near future.

We see TRON not only as an opportunity to bring new users, but as a future of all decentralized applications and especially games — Blockchain Cuties CEO Vladimir Tomko

This major move was unveiled a day before TRON announced a massive $100 million blockchain gaming development fund that is designed to spur game development on the TRON network.
