This milestone comes 6 and a half months after the 1 millionth CryptoKitty was hatched. Despite the kitty-based growth, CryptoKitties has suffered from low user numbers over the past year, coinciding with the crypto bear market.
According to data from DappRadar, the game currently only sees around 200-400 daily active users, ranking it 9th among Ethereum-based dapps.
Dapper Labs closed a $15 million fundraising round back in November from top investors including Venrock, Samsung Next and GV, the venture arm of Alphabet.
