According to data found within the Kin Explorer, which monitors user activity and transactions on the Kin blockchain, there have been 8,364 active users on the Kin blockchain over the last 24 hours. This is in comparison to the 7,700 active users found on all Ethereum DApps.
The user activity comes from the two major applications active on the Kin blockchain: the Kik messenger beta and Kinit, which rewards users with Kin for completing daily activities like surveys, quizzes, interactive videos and more.
The Kin Foundation, which oversees the Kin cryptocurrency, recently revealed that major energy drink brand Red Bull has joined Kinit, becoming one of the first major brands to offer users the opportunity to earn KIN through the app. Additional growth is anticipated within the Kin ecosystem, as the project recently announced a $3 million developer program to drive the creation of more applications on the blockchain.
