KuCoin, a Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange, announced Thursday that it has delisted 6 altcoins in an effort to clean up the quality of cryptocurrencies and tokens on its platform.

According to the announcement, the following projects have been disqualified and the tickers removed from KuCoin:

  • EncrypGen (DNA)
  • Publica (PBL)
  • Raiden Network Token (RDN)
  • Monetha (MTH)
  • BlockMason Credit Protocol (BCPT)
  • Gladius Token (GLA)

The altcoins were delisted yesterday and withdrawals will be available until May 23, 2019. This move by KuCoin comes as other major crypto exchanges are beginning to purge stale cryptocurrencies following the prolonged bear market.

We recently reported that Cryptopia has dropped 70 different altcoins in the last year or so, including names like BeaverCoin, MileyCyrusCoin and the ever-popular HoboNickels. Similarly, Hong Kong-based OKEx announced in October that it will delist nearly 60 trading pairs attached.
