Tezos (XTZ), a blockchain platform that features a self-evolving upgrade system, has been added to the Ledger platform and can now be stored on the Ledger Nano S.

According to the announcement, the Tezos Wallet application is now available for download on Ledger Live after previously only being available in developer mode. Now, the app supports the delegation of tokens to others for Tezos’ Liquid Proof of Stake consensus mechanism.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tezos to the Ledger platform,” said Eric Larchevêque, CEO at Ledger. “It is exciting to see active community members and external developers adding Ledger support, and we look forward to seeing continued engagement coming from the community.”

This news comes several weeks after Ledger announced its new Bluetooth-enabled Nano X, which is designed for use with mobile devices. The Nano X boasts a slightly larger screen than previous designs and, through its Bluetooth functionality, the wallet can directly connect to Ledger Live.

XTZ is currently down 0.8% over the last 24 hours to $0.415319, giving it a $254.3 million market cap and making it the 21st largest coin in the AltDex 100 Index (ALT100).
