According to the announcement, OKEx will be delisting BTC, ETH or USDT trading pairs associated with 42 altcoins, including Unikoin Gold (UKG), Airswap (AST), and Bread (BRD). These trading pairs will be delisted on October 31 at 6:00 AM (CET).
“Please note that only the TRADING PAIRS with weak liquidity and trading volume, but NOT THE TOKENS themselves, will be delisted. Other satisfactory trading pairs can still be traded normally,” said OKEx in the announcement.
The news comes as other major cryptocurrency exchanges have started delisting illiquid altcoins. Binance recently announced plans to delist Bytecoin (BCN), ChatCoin (CHAT), Iconomi (ICN) and Triggers (TRIG) on November 12 at 10:00 AM (UTC).
