Riot Games, the creator of the popular League of Legends franchise, has closed a major partnership with Alienware, a gaming computer hardware subsidiary of Dell, that will bring Alienware computers and monitors to LoL esports events.

“Beginning 2019, Alienware is proud to partner with Riot Games to support the League of Legends esports scene, becoming the official PC & Display partner for the LCS, LEC, and international competitions including the Mid-Season Invitational, World Championship and All-Star Event,” the announcement states.

The multi-year deal, which was first revealed at CES 2019, will bring a “fleet” of Alienware Aurora R8 desktops paired with top-of-the-line AW2518H 240Hz G-sync gaming monitors to event series. The partnership will also focus on improving broadcasting and streaming, as to allow viewers to better experience their favorite pros.

This partnership unites two organizations with no shortage of experience and resources committed to furthering the next era of League of Legends esports. We strive to prove our industry leadership, while focusing on innovation and creating meaningful improvements for the League of Legends esports pros, community, and long-term sustainability of the sport.

The 2019 competitive League of Legends season is set to kick-off across the globe in January, with the North America series (LCS) set to launch on January 26.
