Rocket League, a vehicular soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix, has announced the details of Season 7 of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS).

According to the announcement, players can now players can compete on any platform where Rocket League is currently available, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Steam and Xbox One.
Rocket League notes that it will be adding South America as an official region this year and qualifiers for all regions will run through early March. Full League Play will then begin in early April.
Amateur players will also have a shot to compete through the Rival Series qualifiers, where top-128 teams will move on to the play-in phase where they’ll battle to fill the final four Rival Series spots in both North America and Europe. In total, more than $1 million in prizing will be up for grabs this season.
This news comes just weeks after major esports organization Team SoloMid (TSM) announced the creation of its very first competitive Rocket League squad. The new team will represent TSM in the EU Rocket League Championship Series and the EU RLCS season.
