According to details shared with SludgeFeed, the upcoming series will allow all players to compete within their respective regions in a best-of-three, round-robin format. From there, the top 6 from each region will enter into a regional gauntlet playoff bracket. The playoffs will be taking place live and in person on April 6 and 7 at the Blizzard Arena Los Angeles.
This weekend’s play starts at 10:00 AM (EDT) on both March 23 and 24. The only difference being that Saturday will feature 4 rounds of Europe and 3 rounds of America and Sunday will be the reverse.
The WCS Winter Round of 8 will be broadcast live on the StarCraft Twitch channel with Ravi “feardragon” Pareek, Nathan “Nathanias” Fabrikant and Geoff “iNcontrol” Robinson.
