Switcheo, a decentralized exchange built on NEO (NEO), has listed 19 new ERC-20 tokens after launching its Callisto protocol update for interoperability a little over a week ago.

According to previous announcements, the launch of Callisto made Switcheo the first non-custodian exchange to support both the NEO and Ethereum blockchains.

“We are currently in the development phase of enabling blockchains’ interoperability to activate cross-chain trading. Because each blockchain runs on its own unique protocol and, there is no current technology that facilitate their interaction with one another,” said Switcheo CEO, Ivan Poon.

During the initial launch, Switcheo added 22 ERC-20 tokens, including Maker (MKR), OmiseGO (OMG), Basic Attention Token (BAT) and more. With the recent update, Switcheo has added 19 additional tokens, including Holochain (HOT), Kyber Network (KNC), Morpheus Network (MRPH) and Zilliqa (ZIL).

Switcheo’s own token (SWTH) currently trades for $0.005 with a $2.6 million market cap, putting it in the micro-cap altcoin size range.
