According to the announcement, the brand overhaul includes a revamped website and logo, as part of an effort to bring a modern look to reflect the project’s technology. The rebranding looks to be targeted toward business, to better market Syscoin’s platform for creating tokens and decentralized applications (dapps).
In addition to aesthetic changes, Syscoin has also announced the formation of the Syscoin Foundation, a non-profit organization that will represent the core development team, secure code repositories and help steer development.
“Its goal is to expedite global adoption of blockchain technology by championing the unique decentralization features offered by the Syscoin Platform,” the Syscoin team stated.
Syscoin also revealed its 2019 roadmap, which notably includes the publication of results from its third-party transactions per second (TPS) test and the release the Z-DAG whitepaper.
SYS is currently trading for $0.04744 with $25.8 million market cap, making it the 115th largest cryptocurrency.
