In a last-ditch attempt to prove how dumb he is before the new year, Trump tweeted about the unusually cold weather predicted for New Year’s Eve, suggesting that “we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against.”

Apparently unaware of the distinction between weather and climate, Trump’s tweet makes the all-too-common mistake of making broad assumptions based on local weather. Thankfully, most of Twitter, including Vinny Guadagnino, were available to correct the president’s misconceptions.

The Weather Channel has spent the last few days trying to “set the record straight” after Trump’s tweet about Climate Change.

Trump’s tweet Thursday, which has nearly 200,000 likes, is just the latest example of the president’s vocal skepticism about Climate Change.
