Plair looks to combine the functionality found on various established gaming platforms, including Discord, Twitch and Steam. The platform allows users to host and join esports tournaments, create and share content, interact with other community members and build decentralized gaming applications on top of their blockchain ecosystem.
These tournaments, in addition to other in-platform features, will be fueled by Plair Tokens (PLA), which will be available to investors via a public sale starting on October 31. According to the project’s roadmap, the first alpha version of the platform will go live in March of 2019.
This demo comes as VeChain prepares for the launch of the network’s first dApp. DECENT.bet (DBET), an open-source peer-to-peer blockchain gaming platform that lets anyone build custom games, predictive markets and casinos will go live on October 31.
